Road Management Plan
The current Road Management Plan (Version 3) was adopted by Council on 28 September 2009.
This Plan was amended (Revision A) and signed by the CEO on 23 November 2011.
The amended to the Road Management Plan on the 23 November 2011 was due to a review of the Greater Shepparton City Council's Road Management Plan with regard to Item 4.4.2 Response Times - Pathways "Defective footpath or pedestrian areas with a step greater than 50mm". This review has concluded that Council reduce this defect intervention level from 50mm to 35mm.
The plan known as Road Management Plan Version 3 (Revision A);
- sets relevant standards and policies in relation to the discharge of duties in the performance by Council of its road management functions;
- includes details of the management system that Council proposes to implement in the discharge of its duty to inspect, maintain and repair public roads and ancillary areas for which Council is the coordinating road authority or the responsible road authority;
- specifies the relevant policies and priorities adopted by the Council; and
- includes any matters that a relevant Code of Practice specifies should be included in a Road Management Plan.
