Greater Shepparton Greater Future identifies the municipality's priorities for State and Federal Government funding
Greater Shepparton City Council launched its Greater Shepparton Greater Future ask of government publication in December 2011.
The document identifies the municipality's priorities for State and Federal Government funding.
Among the priorities identified by the Greater Shepparton community for funding support are:
- Improved rail services;
- Goulburn Valley Highway Shepparton bypass;
- Redevelopment of GV Health
- Completion of the irrigation modernisation project;
- Shared La Trobe University and GOTAFE library facility;
- Development of University of Melbourne's Dookie campus in to a 21st -century research and education centre for rural and regional sustainability;
- Upgrading the CBD and Vaughan St precincts; and
- Refurbishment of the Shepparton court facility.
