Sustainable Water Use Plan
The Council endorsed the Sustainable Water Use Plan (SWUP) at its February 2007 Council Meeting.
The SWUP commits the Council to a 15 per cent reduction in its potable (drinking) water use over the next five years. The Department of Sustainability and Environment funded the development of the SWUP which addresses the amount of water the Council uses on behalf of residents, and identifies actions to reduce water use. Progress towards meeting the actions of the SWUP will be reported annually to the Council and also on this website.Related Links
