Waterways
Residents in Greater Shepparton are fortunate to have so many wonderful rivers, wetlands and waterways on our back doorstep.
The Broken and Goulburn Rivers are vital habitat for many fauna species, and our network of bike paths allows us to interact closely with nature. We have many birds, possums, gliders and insects in these areas. When in these areas, please respect that these areas are the homes of many creatures, so refrain from littering, and ensure that you do not damage any vegetation or disturb any soil. These waterways are managed by the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority (GBCMA), and further information can be found on their website (weblink below)
