The Greater Shepparton City Council has adopted a series of local laws that aim to protect and enhance the community's general way of life and well-being.
Each local law is available below for browsing online, or downloading for later use.
Local Law #3 has been incorporated into Local Law #1 - Environment
The purpose of Local Law No 1 - Community Living is to provide for the peace, order and good government of the municipal district of the Greater Shepparton City Council.

The purpose of Local Law No. 2 is to:
• Provide a procedure for the election of the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and the chair of any special committees.
• Govern the conduct of Council meetings and special committee meetings.
• Regulate and control the use of the common seal.
• Prohibit unauthorised use of the common seal or any device resembling the common seal.
