The implementation of the projects identified to upgrade the Goulburn Valley Highway, in particular the duplication of the Arcadia section of the highway, the bypasses of Nagambie and Shepparton, and the Strathmerton deviation are strongly supported by the Greater Shepparton City Council.
GV Link, a freight and logistics centre, will be built on 331 hectares at 250 Toolamba Road, two kilometres south of the Midland Highway in Mooroopna and will consist of an intermodal terminal and general freight area. The functional and detailed design works is currently approaching completion.
Council will be installing underground stormwater drainage pipes in Knight Street between Wyndham Street and The Boulevard outfall, Shepparton.
