Chief Executive Officer - Gavin Cator
As the CEO of GSCC I am responsible and accountable for all the activities of the staff within the organisation. I also assist the Council in achieving their collective goals and aspirations for the Greater Shepparton community.
I am a Civil Engineer by trade; however I have held the positions of Chief Executive Officer, General Manager or Shire Manager over the past 20 years for a range of local government organisations.
I bring to the role strong administration and governance skills and my aim is for GSCC is to be the best organisation it can possibly be.
I am a very enthusiastic but ordinary golfer and I am currently enjoying my new appointment as AFL Commissioner for the new Goulburn Murray Regional Commission. On the weekends you can find me spending time with my family and pottering around the house.
