Meet the Music explores the unique sounds of the symphony orchestra and its instruments. In the 50-minute performance, students are introduced to the instruments of the orchestra and the techniques used by composers to express their ideas and emotions, and depict images and stories.
The unique sounds of the orchestra and its instruments are explored in Meet the Music.
As instruments are introduced and performance techniques described, so the power orchestral music has in communicating stories, images and emotions will become evident.
