Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking expressions of interest from businesses who want to take part in the 2008 China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair from 6 – 10 June 2008.
Council's Business Development Manager Sally Macdonald said over 5,000 buyers from 40 countries attend the fair each year."Greater Shepparton is working with Mildura Rural City Council and Shire of Campaspe to offer Goulburn Valley businesses an opportunity to open their business up to Asian markets via this high profile event," Ms Macdonald said.
"While businesses are required to fund their own their flights and accommodation, by participating in a facilitated opportunity such as this businesses can access invaluable assistance with buyer appointments, translation services and display booths.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to expand into the international market."
