John McEwen Reserve (Shepparton Sports Precinct)

The John McEwen Reserve (also known as the Shepparton Sports Precinct) is a large sports area in North Shepparton. It is comprised of Council managed sports facilities and leased sports facilities. The Council managed facilities include four multi purpose fields suitable for junior and senior soccer, touch football and football training. There is a multi purpose pavilion which has four changerooms. An athletics track is also located at the reserve. The leased facilities include 18 netball courts, one hockey field, eight tennis courts, a cycling velodrome, a BMX track and a horse venue suitable for dressage and show jumping. John McEwen Reserve is home to the Shepparton Little Athletics Club, Shepparton Netball Association, Goulburn Valley Hockey Association, McEwen Reserve Tennis Club, Shepparton Cycling Club, Shepparton BMX Club and Northern Victorian Show Jumping Club. The Council managed Shepparton Sports Stadium is located at the eastern end of the reserve.
