When a pet has gone missing, it can be very difficult to pinpoint where they might be at a precise moment. At times it is absolutely a needle-in-a-haystack situation.
Finding lost or missing pets is difficult — often the animal is frightened, disoriented, unsure of where they are or how they got there. Having your pet registered, microchipped and identification tags on your pet's collar gives you the highest probability that your lost pet will be returned to you.
If you have lost your pet the first place you should be looking is Council's Animal Shelter. The Shelter is situated in Wanganui Road, Shepparton, and is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (Closed Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays). Council's Shelter can also be contacted on (03) 5832 9794.
