Greater Shepparton City Council
formally received and accepted the Shepparton Show Me 2005/2006
Annual Report at the Council Meeting held on Tuesday 5
December.
The Shepparton Show Me Chrissy Quizza
was launched today in the Maude St Mall with media personalities
battling it out for the chance to win a children’s bike to donate
to the charity of their choice.

Santa’s little elves have been busy
decorating Shepparton in the past weeks and there is more to come

This Christmas, Shepparton Show Me is
spreading the message of Christmas onto the streets of Shepparton
with colourful and imaginative artworks by school
children.
Shop Local Shop Shepparton – this is
the message the Shepparton Show Me Committee wants everyone to
remember the lead up to Christmas, encouraging locals to spend
their money in Shepparton instead of in other major
cities.
Continuing on the success of last
year, Shepparton Show Me will be providing retailers in the CBD
with a live Christmas trees to display outside their
shops.
The Shepparton Show Me Spring
newsletter will be distributed this week to businesses and
retailers in Shepparton.
If you haven’t updated your business
details yet, you might miss out on the chance to be in the running
for a hamper filled with local produce valued at $100.
The Shepparton Show Me Committee is
calling for last submissions by interested parties wanting to
submit applications for funding to do so before close of business
on Thursday 31 August 2006.
It’s that simple! If you own or
manage a business in Shepparton, Show Me wants to hear from
you.
The Shepparton Show Me Winter
newsletter will be distributed this week to businesses and
retailers in Shepparton.
The newly appointed Shepparton Show
Me Committee met for their first meeting today. Lasting two and
half hours the Committee had a number of agenda items to work
through including the appointment of the Chairperson and
Deputy.

supporting local events and festivals that have a financial benefit

appointed eight members to the Shepparton Show Me Committee at
today’s Special Council Meeting.
