Future draft plan for Pine Lodge Cemetery

The Pine Lodge cemetery has almost reached capacity and needs to extend the current site for future use.

Greater Shepparton City Council on behalf of the Pine Lodge Cemetery Trust, has developed a draft Master Plan for the Pine Lodge Cemetery.

The draft Master Plan looks at:

  • Vegetation
  • Facilities
  • Material and Furniture
  • Pedestrian access
  • Vehicular access
  • Water
  • Drainage
  • Burial sections

Director Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker “Council has been working with community members earlier this year to get their suggestions on what they would like to see at Pine Lodge cemetery master plan design”.

“The draft will be on display for community members to comment for the next two weeks. The draft master plan once approved will be the guide for the next ten years and the future development of the Pine Lodge Cemetery” said Mr Bowmaker.

The draft plan is now on display at council offices or online for comment.
