30 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise residents of the following changes to waste collection during the Easter period.

26 Mar — Greater Shepparton, in partnership with Mooroopna Secondary College, recently hosted a delegation of 27 students on exchange from Oshu City in Japan.  
24 Mar — Millions of people from around the world will join together for Earth Hour at 8.30pm on Saturday 27 March 2010 and Greater Shepparton City Council is calling on businesses, organisations and individuals to turn off their lights a join in Earth Hour locally.  
23 Mar — All pet owners must renew their cat and dog registrations by Saturday 10 April to avoid being fined.  
23 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council is encouraging residents to check their property to ensure there is no stagnant water that promotes mosquito breeding and to cover up and protect themselves from mosquitoes.  
Australian Centre for Contemporary Art tour comes to Shepparton
23 Mar — A series of exhibitions curated by Melbourne’s internationally renowned Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) will be exhibited concurrently at three regional Victorian galleries from April.  
22 Mar — The 2010 Australasian Schools Cycling Cup will be held in Dookie from Tuesday 23 March until Thursday 25 March.  
17 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council approved funding for three sporting projects totaling $67,000 at its Ordinary Council Meeting yesterday.  
17 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council gave notice at its Ordinary Council Meeting today that Council intends to sell or lease land as part of the new freight logistics centre development GV Link.  
17 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council has began the final stage of the Stuart Mock Place redevelopment, with works expected to be completed by the end of April 2010.  
17 Mar — The township of Shepparton will celebrate 150 years as a settlement during September 2010, and to mark the occasion the town will come alive with celebrations under the banner of ‘Shepparton celebrates 150’.  
16 Mar — The Spring Car Nationals will be held at the Shepparton Showgrounds for the next five years, following approval by Greater Shepparton City Council at its March ordinary Council meeting today.  
16 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking feedback on the draft Greater Shepparton Road Safety Plan 2010-2014 after it was adopted in principle at the March Council meeting.  
15 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council has extended the free green organic waste drops offs for storm affected green waste until Sunday 21 March 2010 at 4.00pm.  
11 Mar — Construction of the North Shepparton Community Hub is expected to be finished by late April, with the officially opening to be held in June 2010.  
11 Mar — Greater Shepparton City Council is participating in the Victorian Government’s fine waiver scheme, that gives residents the chance to pay fines without the accumulated charges.  
Kidstown Easter Egg-Stravaganza Festival
11 Mar — SPC Ardmona KidsTown is holding its annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza Festival on Thursday 1, Friday 2 and Saturday 3 April 2010 between 10.00am-3.00pm each day.  
A Taste of Harmony to celebrate our diversity
11 Mar — A morning tea to celebrate our diverse community will be held to coincide with Cultural Diversity Week and Harmony Day at SPC Ardmona KidsTown on Thursday 18 March 2010 from 10.30am.  
9 Mar — Greater Shepparton residents affected by the long weekend’s storm damage are able to attend a community meeting held tonight, Tuesday 9 March 2010 from 6.00pm-7.00pm at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton Showground, to find out up-to-date information from all agencies involved in the response.
