18 Jul — Greater Shepparton City Council voted today to amend farm zones planning regulations to protect rural farming land from inappropriate development.  

17 Jul — Greater Shepparton City Council today adopted the 2012/13 budget with an overall increase in rates and charges of just 3.95 per cent, down two per cent compared to the 5.95 per cent originally proposed in the draft budget.

4 Jul — One of the biggest community engagement projects ever hosted by Greater Shepparton City Council will be launched today (Tuesday 3 July) at the Eastbank Centre from 4pm to 6pm.  

3 Jul — Greater Shepparton City Council announced today that a $5.4 million grant from the Federal Government will allow new housing to be developed in the Mooroopna West Growth Corridor.
