KidsFest back for 2009
KidsFest, the two day children’s festival will return to SPC Ardmona KidsTown during the school holidays, running on Friday 2 October and Saturday 3 October 2009.This year, the event will feature a number of new and returning attractions including KidsTown Clowns, arts and crafts and a sideshow alley for both younger and older children.
KidsTown Playground Coordinator Steve Wilson said that KidsFest is now in its fourth year and has established itself as a fun packed event for the whole family.
"This year's the festival features a number of high profile children's entertainers including Ben 10TM, Bob the Builder and the Fifi and the FlowertotsTMShow," Mr Wilson said.
"There will also be a sideshow alley area with lots of rides, including jumping castles, camel rides, dodgem cars, bungie trampolines, pony rides and a merry-go-round.
"There will also be woodturning demonstrations, arts and crafts displays, and an area dedicated to sports programs and beach volleyball games.
"KidsFest is great value family entertainment and there is something for everyone, so put the dates in your diary now."
The festival is on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October from 10.00am to 4.00pm each day.
Entry is a gold coin per person (some activities may incur an additional cost.)
