A new outdoor play area at Isabel Pearce Kindergarten has been completed.
The project was funded by the Victorian Government, Greater Shepparton City Council and the kindergarten, through fundraising activities.Council's Manager Family and Children's Services Steve Dawkins said a lot of the work had been done by families who have children attending the kinder.
"Isabel Pearce is a smaller kindergarten and relies heavily on volunteers to maintain the facilities," Mr Dawkins said.
"The new facilities include new fencing and sheds and new grass areas for the children to play on."
Enrolments are now being taken for three year old fun group and four year old kindergarten at Isabel Pearce in 2009.
To be eligible to attend kinder in 2009, a child must turn four before 30 April 2009.
Council facilitates kinder enrolments for all kindergartens. Enrolment forms are available from the Council office or on the Council website.
