There are a number of major events happening in Greater Shepparton during the long weekend.
Dates: Saturday 9, Sunday 10 and Monday 11 June
Location: Shepparton Sports Precinct multipurpose fields, Wanganui High School Oval and Rumbalara.
10 softball diamonds will be created with participants from all around Victoria as well as some from interstate and NZ seeing 40 teams and more than 800 players. Participants need to be 35+ to play

VFL Round 11 action will see AFL listed players converge on Shepparton when Richmond's VFL affiliate, Coburg tigers, faces Essendon's VFL affiliate, Bendigo gold.

Venue: Moira Park, Kialla
Classes included 1-8 dog teams including novice and junior as well as pee wee for the little ones with an adult under the age of 7!
It's a family based sport and this is the only three day, three heat race run in Australia. Entries of up to 200 can be expected along with around 300-350 dogs.
This year will see the 8 dog class run for the first time on dirt in Victoria!
