Greater Shepparton City Council is encouraging people planning on attending KidsFest this year to think about their transport to the festival, as parking will be limited.
SPC Ardmona KidsTown Playground Coordinator Steve Wilson said KidsTown is expecting it to be very busy during the two-day festival."There will be limited car parking available, so Council is providing a free courtesy bus to get people to and from KidsFest," Mr Wilson said.
"The courtesy bus will make stops at K-Mart, Wyndham Street, Shepparton Library, McLennan Street in Mooroopna and naturally KidsTown.
"To avoid the hassle of parking we suggest people drive to a place like the Library, park in the all day car parks and be dropped off and returned to your car."
Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to use the service and prams are welcome.
To get a copy of the timetable or for more information visit www.sheppkidsfest.com.au or contact SPC Ardmona KidsTown on (03) 5831 4213
The festival is on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October from 10.00am to 4.00pm each day.
Entry is by a gold coin per person which covers most attractions except for those in the sideshow alley areas.
