Arts and Culture

Arts and Culture

Greater Shepparton is home to a growing arts and cultural sector.

Shepparton Art Gallery presents a comprehensive history of the development of Australian Ceramics. It presents annually the prestigious Sidney Myer Fund International Ceramics Award in addition to diverse program of touring and community driven exhibitions.

Greater Shepparton's performing arts venues are first class. On virtually any day of the week, you will find a performance or an event to entertain at one of our venues - the Eastbank Centre or the WestSide Performing Arts Centre.

In March of each year, make sure you put plenty of time aside to take in the delights of the SheppARTon Festival.

Arts and Cultural Strategy

WHAT'S HAPPENING?

The Greater Shepparton City Council is preparing a new strategy for Arts and Culture which promises to be visionary and progressive. The new strategy will make planning for a culturally vibrant city central to our overall Council plan for the future of Shepparton. This strategy will be based on improving social, cultural and economic outcomes for our citizens by identifying strategic direction for the Council's arts and cultural services.
