Trinity lives in Greater Shepparton and is of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
Born in South Sudan, Agoot Akau was eager to become involved in the LEAD Social Marketing Campaign as he wanted the opportunity to help people by challenging perceptions and stereotypes. He has enjoyed the experience and feels he is now ‘famous.’
Born in Iraq, Fatima Al-Qarachy came to Shepparton in 2002. Fatima was eager to become involved in the LEAD Social Marketing Campaign as she believed it would deliver an easily understood message to the wider community that we are all the same. She describes her involvement in the campaign as a ‘great experience.’
Leon Saunders has lived all his life in Shepparton. He was keen to be involved in the LEAD Social Marketing Campaign to gain positive recognition for Aboriginal people and to insure the issue of discrimination can be heard through the voices of his people.
