Greater Shepparton Municipal Public Health Plan
Greater Shepparton's Public Health Plan vision captures our community attitude 'As the Food Bowl of Australia, a sustainable, innovative and diverse community - Greater Future'.
By working together in partnership we continue to build a sustainable and resilient multi-cultural community that celebrates and promotes our successes.
New Municipal Public Health Panel
As part of an annual review and evaluation of the current Municipal Public Health Plan (MPHP), the Culture and Community Strengthening Branch has initiated a new Municipal Health Panel to oversee the achievements of the current Health Plan, start work on the strategic direction and health priority focus for inclusion in the next MPHP.
This high level strategic Health Panel will also ensure we continue to achieve a positive health and wellbeing inclusive lifestyle environment for all with optimum health outcomes, to benefit our and neighbouring municipalities.
The strength of our Greater Shepparton Municipal Health Panel is demonstrated by the capacity of our respresentatives from the following health service providers and organisations:

- Primary Care Connect
- Family Care
- Goulburn Valley General Practice
- Department of Health
- Rumbalara Health
- University of Melbourne
- Centre for Excellence in Rural Sexual Health (CERSH)

- Primary Care Partnerships
- Greater Shepparton's Culture and Community Strengthening, Aged and Childrens Services and Leisure Services.
Scheduled meetings occur bi-monthly.
