Children's and Youth Services
Family and Children's Services provide a number of child care services, including Family Day Care, Occasional Care and Long Day Care.
Greater Shepparton City Council believes every family has the right to quality education and care services that recognise and value each child as an individual and are responsive to the needs of families.
The early childhood years are important formative years in a child's development. The early childhood setting therefore needs to be a warm, secure, caring environment where the development of independence and self-confidence is fostered, and creativity and individuality are encouraged. The partnership between parent and educator is invaluable in the care and outcome for the child.
Our services are flexible and responsive to the changing needs of children and their families and are provided in a way that is supportive of each families values, cultural and religious needs.
