The shared pathway network winds its way from the north of Shepparton, at Water's Reserve, south along the Goulburn River to the centre of the City, and branches west to Mooroopna and south to Kialla Lakes.
The pathways run through areas of natural beauty, including forest and river environs, and is connected in places by on road access links.

The shared pathway, via a spectacular suspension bridge, directly links two of Greater Shepparton's most popular passive recreation areas.
The bridge is a bright and colourful landmark that allows users of the pathway to move from the Victoria Park Lake precinct to one of Australia's largest outdoor playgrounds, SPC Ardmona KidsTown.
Located adjacent to Aquamoves, this fully fenced all abilities playground features swings, concord net, sand play area, slides, climbing walls, etc. There is full wheelchair access to this free playground and it is open from dawn to dusk. Public toilets on-site.

The regional skate park in the Victoria Park Lake precinct provides an exhilarating recreational option for young people.
It is centrally located adjacent to Victoria Park Lake on one side and the John Pick Playground on the other, giving parents and guardians a place to relax and share in the fun and excitement.
Located on McLennan Street, Mooroopna near Ferrari Park, this skate park offers a wide variety of challenges and is suitable for BMX, roller blades, skateboards and scooters.
Greater Shepparton has been actively developing its bicycle facilities with over 30km of on-street bicycle lanes and over 30km of off-road shared paths. A project steering committee was formed to improve the continuity, safety and accessibility of cycling and to improve linkages to key destinations within major towns.
