S-cape Skate Park
S-cape - Greater Shepparton's regional skate park has become one of the most popular and well-used facilities for youth in the region.
S-Cape in Shepparton was completed in December 2001 at a cost of $300,000. Council sought funding from the Department of Sport and Recreation Victoria for $150,000. Council then contributed $100,000 and community contributions amounted to $50,000.
The design for the park was established by Aspect Designs and construction was completed by CONVIC Australia. The design styles and ojectives were to have a street layout for use by rollerbladers, bmx, skate boards and scooters. The dimensions of the park is that it is 42m wide, 72m long and has an actual activity area of 1197m2.
