Shepparton Art Gallery
The Shepparton Art Gallery is located across two floors of exhibition space in the Eastbank Centre, 70 Welsford Street, Shepparton.
The Shepparton Art Gallery is located across two floors of exhibition space in the Eastbank Centre, 70 Welsford Street, Shepparton.
On the ground floor the gallery has three dedicated temporary exhibition spaces thus allowing the presentation of a program of exhibitions that derive from the communities and artists of Greater Shepparton and national and international touring exhibitions. On the upper floor the gallery presents its permanent exhibition of Australian ceramics, which includes work from the first commercial potteries, the development of studio pottery, and showcases contemporary ceramic design and sculpture. Paintings and works on paper from the permanent collection are also on display.
A significant aspect of the gallery's program is the biennale Sidney Myer Fund International Ceramics Award and the national Indigenous Ceramic Art Award.
Closed Good Friday and between Christmas and New Year.
Open 7 days per week, 10.00am to 4.00pm
(Public Holidays - 1.00pm - 4.00pm)
