The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is an international leadership in action programme, available to all young people aged between 14-25 years of age. Being voluntary, flexible, non-competetive, balanced, progressive, challenging and most of all enjoyable, it provides an opportunity for young people to achieve personal excellence and build self esteem, self confidence, self reliance, self motivation and respect for others via their involvement in service, skill, physical recreation and expedition activities.

The Foundation for Young Australians is a dynamic not-for-profit organisation committed to developing innovative initiatives that support and empower the lives of young Australians aged 12-25 years. The Foundation for Young Australians commit over $3 million each year to youth focussed initiatives that help provide young people with opportunities to reach their full potential and make a contribution to the community. Approximately 20% of their total grant funding is dedicated to initiatives specifically designed to benefit young indigenous Australians.

The r.u. MAD Project seeks to assist students to put into practice the values and lessons developed in the classroom curriculum, sharing their talent, treasure and time to create a more just and fair society. It involves academic content about philanthropy and skill development involving students contributing to their communities. The new materials are linked to the Curriculum Standards Framework for Studies of Society and Environment, Health and Physical Education and English.

The Push is a non-profit, statewide youth entertainment organisation. The Push provides opportunities for young people with a choice of quality affordable entertainment in an alcohol and drug free environment. The Push is funded through the FReeZA program, Office for Youth, Department of Education, Employment & Training. The Push operates through a network of committees in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, and young people themselves are actively involved in designing and running FReeZA events.

The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria Inc (YACVic) is the peak body and leading policy advocate on young people's issues in Victoria. Their vision is for a Victorian community that values and provides opportunity, participation, justice and equity for all young people.

Victorian Government youth website, Youth Central is a State Government initiative for Victorians aged 12 to 25. It provides information about jobs and careers, studying and training, travel and transport, managing money, opportunities to get involved and much more.
