Greater Shepparton has a diverse range of industries. It revels in its reputation as the 'Food Bowl of Australia'. In particular, our quality fresh fruit and dairy products attract international recognition as being on a par with the best in the world.
These industries provide conference delegates or event participants with an opportunity to sample quality products that would normally only be found in our overseas markets.
Country warmth and friendliness abounds in all towns within Greater Shepparton. Wide tree-lined streets, clean air, a host of high quality parks, gardens, lakes and open spaces provide a unique, enjoyable and relaxing setting which is rarely available in capital cities.
There is an excellent variety of restaurants, licensed clubs and evening entertainment, retail outlets and community services, which all showcase the diversity of the region and provide an opportunity for locals and visitors to enjoy.
Accommodation is well catered for with a choice of quality motels, hotels, cabins, caravan parks, leisure centres, hostels, on-campus facilities and bed and breakfast establishments.
Over 1,200 visitors can be accommodated at any one time in the Greater Shepparton region which allows us to host delegates for very large events in close proximity to the heart of Shepparton while still catering to differing budgetary and lifestyle requirements.
Getting to the region is hassle free. Shepparton is the transport hub for regional Victoria and is easily accessed along high quality roads or highways from every state. With daily services linking road and rail to key capital cities, Shepparton is within two hours of Melbourne, allowing for quick and convenient access to our region. Alternatively, air charter services are also available between all Capital Cities.
