Craig Blizzard - Chairman
Craig Blizzard is the Chairman of Shepparton Show Me and began his career as an engraver at F C Johns Shepparton. He spent 23 years there learning his craft before opening his own jewellery store, Blizzards Fine Jewellery, in the Harris Scarfe Plaza in 1994.
A qualified watch and clock maker and Jewellery designer, Craig has travelled extensively to jewellery fairs overseas up to three times a year. With his wife and business partner Lynne, Craig is more selective of what and where they buy their product both in Australia and overseas but in order to keep up with world trends, travel has become part of the business.
Craig is well known for his involvement in sport, either playing, coaching or administrating. He believes sporting clubs are rewarding in many different ways. Horse Riding, Footy, Netball, Basketball or Cricket, have all at some stage dominated their family's life, and it doesn't seem like anything's going to change in the near future, with his three children Aiden, Cale and Kara all persuing sporting interests.
Craig is a believer in the Show Me concept and enjoys the creativity that Show Me allows this city to have. Shepparton doesn't have natural attractions like many other of our neighboring competitors and he hopes he can help to create an attractive alternative for our commercial and retail sectors to stand out from the many competing businesses across this city's drawing area.
