Gordon Pendlebury - Deputy Chairman
Gordon Pendlebury is the Deputy Chairman of Shepparton Show Me and established Paintright Walls and Windows in 1974.
Beginning his career with Haymes Paint when he was 17, Gordon used this knowledge to open his own business and over the years expand it to a larger premises in Fryers St and include window furnishings and decorating all under the one umbrella. In recent months, Gordon has taken a step back in the business to allow his daughter Paula and husband Karl to take over the reins, which he believes is one of his proudest moments to have his daughter follow in his footsteps.
Gordon brings 34 years of sales and retail experience to the Show Me Committee and hopes to make Show Me progressive and innovative through fresh ideas and the input of the new members, working towards a common goal as a team.
Actively involved in the community and serving on many boards and committees, Gordon also learnt to fly and has obtained his pilots license. Gordon is also a keen water skier and an avid collector of book badges and spends his spare time reading about the Old West and watching old westerns.
Gordon and wife Yvonne have been married for 38 years, have two daughters Paula and Phillippa and four grandchildren Daniel, Cooper, Hunter and Blaze.
