Your eyes weren't deceiving you – there was a snow dump in Shepparton! 20 tonnes of the white cold stuff fell in Fryers Street as part of the promotion for the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry Winter Market.
This year's market gave shoppers the opportunity to win a snow holiday to Mt Buller valued at $3500 and $500 from The Shepparton News as part of their SMS winter bargains promotion.
Kids of all ages enjoyed free toboggan rides, the chance to play in the snow and to check out all the great bargains on offer. Shepparton Show Me is proud to support the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 2006 Winter Wonderland. Show Me provided sponsorship for the advertising of the event which was seen in television commercials, on radio and in the Shepparton News and the Shepparton Adviser.
