A new network, aimed at getting young professionals networking has been formed in Greater Shepparton as part of the Goulburn Valley Business Rural and Industry Network (GV BRaIN).
GV BRaIN Chair Kylie Trevaskis said the young professionals network highlights a growing appreciation among local businesses of the value of networking."The range of businesses attending GV BRaIN functions has increased over the past year and many have expressed interest in forming specific networks," Ms Trevaskis said.
"As a result of feedback received, we have established a young professionals network.
"Networks for entrepreneurs and home based businesses are also in the early stages of development.
"We will be holding events on a regular basis to give people a chance to network in a social environment.
The first young professionals event will be held on Sunday 22 March at the Shepparton Golf Club. It begins with a smorgasbord lunch at 12noon followed by an Ambrose golf event.
"Whether you are a keen golfer or an absolute novice, this will be an enjoyable event for everyone."
GV BRaIN encourages the development of the Greater Shepparton business community by providing opportunities for like-minded individuals to meet and share ideas.
